Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
Research Incubation Program
Join hands with Simulation Lab to create meaningful academic collaborations, enhance student learning, and amplify your college’s presence in the engineering ecosystem. Together, let’s build the next generation of innovators.
Why Sign an MOU with Us?
Simulation Lab specializes in providing simulation-based learning, engineering design support, and industry-relevant projects to mechanical and automotive students across India. By signing an MOU with us, your college can offer students direct access to our Research Incubation Program — a free, two-month, simulation-focused research experience guided by our CAE Engineers. Students gain exposure to real-world projects, vehicle dynamics, and simulation workflows aligned with industry standards and future technology trends.
Benefits for Your College
Research Incubation Program – MOU Edition
Under this MOU, your college can nominate two academically strong students per year to participate in our Research Incubation Program — a fully free, two-month research internship guided by Simulation Lab’s CAE Engineers. One nominated student will join the Summer Internship cycle, and the other will join the Autumn Internship cycle. Each internship cycle has multiple possible start windows, and Simulation Lab will assign the final start month for your students based on batch availability to ensure balanced participation across all partner colleges. This edition is designed exclusively for MOU partner colleges and provides a focused, guided, and impactful research experience.
Key details of the program:
-
Duration: Selected students will participate in the Research Incubation Program for 2 months, gaining practical, simulation-based research experience.
-
Program Structure: Students will work on a defined research topic or project aligned with Simulation Lab’s core domains—such as simulation setup, product validation, and virtual prototyping—using tools like ANSYS Student Version.
-
Guidance & Mentorship: Participants will work directly under the supervision of our CAE Engineers, ensuring industry-level mentorship and exposure to professional research workflows. (Note: College supervisors are not required for this internship.)
-
Recognition: Upon successful completion of the 2-month program, students will receive a Research Internship Experience Letter from Simulation Lab, acknowledging their contribution and technical learning.
-
Formation Frequency: The Research Incubation Program (MOU Edition) is offered twice a year. To ensure smooth participation and avoid overcrowding across colleges, each internship cycle has multiple available start windows. Simulation Lab will assign the final start month based on batch capacity and scheduling feasibility.
-
Summer Internship Cycle (2-Month Program) Possible Start Windows: May Start → May–June OR June Start → June–July OR July Start → July–August
-
Autumn Internship Cycle (2-Month Program) Possible Start Windows: October Start → October–November OR November Start → November–December OR December Start → December–January
-
Each internship cycle has limited seats, ensuring every selected student receives dedicated mentorship, structured research guidance, and meaningful project outcomes.
